The Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is a not-for-profit professional association. Active WSOMS members are graduates of accredited dental schools who have also completed an accredited training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, are licensed to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin, and limit their practice exclusively to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Active members must participate in the Society’s Office Anesthesia Evaluation Program as a precondition of membership and every five years thereafter, and they must maintain membership in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
